Harold H. Hibbert, M.D. - President and CEO

Dr. Hibbert received a B.Sc. degree in Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University, W.
Lafayette, IN, and a M.D. degree from Stanford University, Stanford, CA.

Dr. Hibbert has over sixteen years experience in the medical field, with ten of them involving
databases and bioinformatics. In 1989, Dr. Hibbert combined his knowledge of medicine and
engineering to lead the development of the Stanford Univ. Medical Center (SUMC) Patient
Archiving System (PACS). This system was being developed on the beta version of Oracle 7.
Dr. Hibbert's improvement of Oracle 7 beta so impressed the Oracle consulting group that they
retained his services world-wide (Unocal Thailand, Singapore Telecom, Singapore, Sun
Microsystems, UK) on a range of Oracle application product installations. He further applied
this broad range of experience later by co-founding Smart Corp. (now Taviz Corp.) in Palo Alto,
CA.

In 1994, Dr. Hibbert began to focus his database efforts in the genomics field and founded
InfoGen. InfoGen developed the first four versions of the Incyte flagship product LifeSeq, which
earned Incyte more than $200.0M in revenue between 1994 and 1998. InfoGen also developed
the Incyte LifeSeq FL, the full length database, and the isSNP, the Incyte In-Silico SNP
database.  In December of 2000, InfoGen re-incorporated as BioInfoGen Inc.

In addition to serving as President and CEO, Dr. Hibbert is Chairmen of the Board of Directors.
